Yesterday a group of Main Street UMC folks assisted with the annual downtown clean up. It was a good day with nearly 200 people in all participating. Our focus was on the courtyard at the library. Many thanks to Phyllis Appler, Paul Pederzani, Stacie Laughton, Jim Pyle, and Pastor Rich for their hard work. Next time you are at the library take a look at how nice the courtyard is looking and know that you had a part in cleaning it up.

I invite you to join me on Saturday, May 18th at 10:00am by either running or walking in the Home Stretch 5k in support of the ministry of the Anne Marie House. Even if you can't participate perhaps you can consider a pledge in support. We have accepted the "congregational challenge" and look to have a good showing. See you there, rain or shine!

Thank you Karrie Lam, our new Coordinator of Youth Ministries, for pulling together this event. We are looking forward to the next one already.
